Letter from Our Chairman
AN OPEN LETTER FROM C. DAVID BROWN, II
Welcome to Broad and Cassel, where our interest is your best interest.
Since we first opened our doors in 1946, we have found success in our determination to always provide our clients with the best legal counsel in the most cost-effective manner possible. Broad and Cassel clients have come to appreciate value-added services beyond what you might expect from a law firm. As a result, we have represented some of the most successful companies in Florida, from start-up ventures to Fortune 500 corporations.
The founders of Broad and Cassel built the firm based on principles that remain today, including integrity, honesty and the belief that an attorney’s word is his or her bond. We have enjoyed the loyalty of our clients, resulting in remarkable growth over the years, by holding true to our philosophy. Today we have nearly 180 attorneys and 275 support personnel in eight offices throughout the state of Florida.
We believe the team approach to the practice of law allows our attorneys to provide clients with the tools to successfully navigate legal issues and avoid litigation when possible. Twenty-five practice groups, or teams of lawyers, focus on specific industries or areas of law. Our attorneys have developed a deep understanding of the issues confronting specific industries and areas of the law, combining their skills to bring about solutions to some of the most complex matters. We strive to be more than competent legal technicians, providing counseling to our clients in order to avoid problems and take hold of opportunities.
As one of the most technologically advanced law firms in the United States, we are able to provide our clients with better legal representation and significant cost savings. Each office is equipped with sophisticated video-conferencing capabilities and attorneys are prepared to communicate with clients instantaneously via telecommunications or electronic mail through the most up-to-date laptop computers.
Your goals and objectives are our first concern at Broad and Cassel. We appreciate your visit and look forward to learning how we can be of assistance to you.
