Arenas , Valentín I.

Valentín I. Arenas is an emerging litigator who focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and business disputes.

Prior to joining Broad and Cassel, Arenas served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Jose Rodriguez in the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court of Florida and to the Honorable Beth Bloom in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

During his time at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Arenas participated in the Intimate Partner Violence Assistance Clinic and was Senior Galleys Editor of the Journal of Technology and Policy, Vice President of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, Vice President of the Latino Law Student Association, Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing and Appellate Advocacy, and General Board Member of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He was also inducted into Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society and named to the Dean’s List four times.

Fluent in Spanish, Arenas holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology from the University of Miami.

Arenas is an active member of various professional and community organizations.
