Hollie A. Croft represents for-profit and non-profit developers that develop multi-family housing for low-income families and seniors throughout the United States and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. She also represents developers in market rate transactions. She counsels her clients in various aspects of developing, financing and operating their communities.
Croft has closed numerous transactions, including tax credit syndications, tax-exempt bond financing, construction and permanent financing, predevelopment financing and interest rate derivatives and investment products. She routinely counsels her clients with respect to numerous subsidies, including HUD insured loans, HUD Mixed Finance and Hope VI transactions, HOME Loans, SAIL Loans, SHIP Loans and other complex real estate financings involving the public and private sector.
Croft’s representation of her clients continues beyond the initial stages of development and closing. She routinely represents her clients in obtaining property tax exemptions, structuring and negotiating work-outs for struggling properties and refinancing high interest rate or maturing loans. Further, she represents her clients in selling affordable housing properties and portfolios.
Some of her notable clients include Picerne Development Corporation, CED, Atlantic Housing, Shelter Corporation, Beneficial Communities, The Wilson Company, and The Paces Foundation, Inc.
