Bernard H. Gentry is a commercial litigator with emphasis on probate, contractual disputes, real estate, construction law, mobile home law and covenants not to compete.
He represents clients in a wide array of industries, including large commercial developers, commercial construction clients and mobile home park owners.
Gentry is experienced in probate litigation, including claims of undue influence or lack of capacity, will contests, actions brought against personal representatives or trustees, probate accountings, elective share issues and actions involving creditor claims.
While pursuing his J.D. at Florida State University, he was selected to the Florida State University Law Review where he served as an Articles Editor. After graduation, he was also elected to the Order of the Coif for academic achievement.
Gentry was a graduate of Leadership Lakeland Class XVIII and was extremely active in the United Way where he chaired different committees. He also tutored through Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Polk County and Girls, Inc. of Lakeland. Gentry was also a long time board member of the Heart of Florida Legal Aid Society and served as president.
