Halpern P.L., Stacey

Stacey Halpern focuses her practice on all aspects of complex commercial and residential real estate sales and acquisitions, financing, and related transactions. She also has significant experience in commercial leasing transactions, including drafting and negotiating office, retail, and wireless leases.

She has represented developers in connection with the sales and refinances of office buildings located throughout the United States.

Halpern represents lenders and borrowers in a wide array of financing transactions, loan restructures and workouts, forbearance agreements, loan sales and deeds-in-lieu of foreclosure documentation. She has lectured on numerous aspects of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC).

Halpern also has experience in the wireless real estate industry, including representing cable, Internet, and alarm providers in agreements with developers, homeowners’ associations, and condominium associations.

She co-authored sections of the National Business Institute seminar, “Drafting and Negotiating Florida Commercial Real Estate Leases.”

She also has experience in corporate transactions, including negotiating and drafting formation and governing documentation, and representing clients in connection with the purchase and sale of stock, membership and partnership interests.

Halpern is proficient in Spanish.

Halpern is involved in various associations and community groups. She is an alumni of Pine Crest School, where she is an active volunteer. She is a past member of BOMA of South Florida and the inaugural class of CREW Treasure Coast.
