Karst , Diane

Prior to joining Broad and Cassel, Diane Karst maintained an active corporate and real estate law practice.

Karst has extensive commercial real estate law experience including acquisition, leasing development, operations and finance, office and retail space leasing, construction lien law, title insurance, survey, contract preparation and negotiation, municipal and county relations, due diligence review, restrictive covenants, and financing.

Throughout her practice, Karst has represented real estate developers, owners and lenders in a variety of projects. These projects have included hotels, residential subdivision developments, office buildings, shopping centers, and condominiums.

Her broad based corporate law experience includes corporate financing, equipment leasing and financing, mergers and acquisitions, stock and asset sales and purchases, formations, contract preparation and negotiation and due diligence review.

Karst has assisted clients with general corporate advice regarding shareholders agreements, the formation of limited liability companies, and buy-sell agreements.

Karst has been actively involved with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Broward and the Broward Economic Development Council. She has also volunteered her time to help the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County and the Project for Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center.
