Richard B. Macfarland is the Co-Chairman of the Firm’s Special Assets Practice Group
His experience includes all aspects of real estate law. He has represented clients in major commercial transactions throughout Florida and the United States.
MacFarland has represented numerous country club developers in their acquisition, development, financing and sale of completed projects. His experience also includes all aspects of hotel and resort operations and country club management.
He has represented several national multi-family apartment developers in their acquisition, development, construction and sale of residential apartment communities throughout the United States. MacFarland has also represented major real estate lenders on all aspects of their Florida mortgage lending.
His clients include national real estate lenders, residential and commercial developers, shopping center owners and resort and country club owners and operators.
MacFarland was designated a “Florida Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers magazine in 2006-2010 and 2014-2017.
MacFarland was recognized in 2008-2017 by the top legal guide “The Best Lawyers in America,” published by Woodward and White.
