Michael J. Niles focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, representing developers, property owners, lenders and borrowers in the acquisition, disposition, financing, leasing and development of real property.
Prior to joining Broad and Cassel, Niles served for 2 years as a law clerk for the Honorable Chief Judge Karen K. Specie of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Florida.
Niles earned his Bachelor of Science degree double-majoring in Real Estate and Finance from Florida State University. He earned his Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, graduating with honors. In law school, Niles received the Book Award in Environmental Law and clerked for a local real estate firm.
He was selected as an Up & Comer in “Florida Legal Elite” by Florida Trend magazine in 2016.
Niles is an active member of various professional and community organizations.
