Eileen O’Malley is a skilled estate planning attorney who focuses her practice in the core areas of probate and trust administration. She has experience in the following: simple and complex estate planning; special needs planning; asset protection and business succession planning; guardianship; planning or administering trusts for vulnerable beneficiaries; ante-nuptial, postnuptial and cohabitation agreements; and general civil litigation including trust and probate litigation.
O’Malley guides her clients through every aspect of the probate and estate or trust administration process and implements the full range of instruments in order to accomplish various estate planning objectives.
She also handles transactional matters for small to mid-sized for-profit and not-for-profit entities.
While in law school, O’Malley individually represented the needs of elderly clients through the Notre Dame Legal Aid Clinic. There she handled an array of elder law issues, including income maintenance, long- and short-term health care decisions, Medicaid applications through appeals, housing, guardianship and estate planning.
