Murray D. Shear has extensive experience in representing institutional lenders. Shear’s representation of financial institutions has included the closing of a broad range of acquisition, development, construction and permanent loans. In that capacity, he has handled the preparation and negotiation of loan commitments, loan documents and dealt with related issues such as Florida intangible tax and documentary stamp tax laws, title and survey, building, zoning and land-use laws and regulations, concurrency and growth management, environmental laws and regulations.
In addition, his practice includes representation of real estate investors and developers in all aspects of their acquisition, development, financing and sale of both residential and commercial projects.
