Sheffield , Frank

Frank E. Sheffield has an extensive background in civil trial practice from more than 36 years of practicing law.

An experienced trial judge, Sheffield was elected for the Second Circuit Court in Florida in 2008 and took the bench in January 2009. In the nearly seven years following, he presided over a variety cases, many of them high profile, in Leon, Gadsden, Liberty and Jefferson Counties. He officially retired from the position in December 2015.

He is a certified Florida Supreme Court Civil Trial and Family Law Mediator.

Sheffield is an active member of various professional and community organizations, including the American Bar Association, Jefferson County Bar Association and the Tallahassee Women Lawyers Association.
