White , Linda Spaulding

Linda Spaulding White has provided advice and drafting and litigation services to insurance companies, healthcare organizations, public and private business clients.

Her area of focus also extends to the negotiation and drafting processes for contract documents, personal leases, public bid documents and various other transactional documents.

White has more than 30 years of experience in private practice, with litigation support in the areas of legal and medical malpractice, personal injury, labor and employment and maritime.  In the litigation area, her varied background includes appellate matters, real estate, including landlord/tenant matters and foreclosure, construction, eminent domain and condemnation, and commercial and insurance defense litigation in state and federal courts.

White has broad transactional experience having negotiated and drafted construction contract documents, including architect and engineer contracts; health care-related professional service and vendor contracts; real estate and personal property, such as equipment, leases for both the landlords and tenants.

She also has represented buyers and sellers in asset and stock purchase transactions and borrowers in loan transactions. As counsel to Adventurent d/b/a Club Nautico, she handled franchise registration filings, corporate filings, franchise agreements and any requested contracts or services.

For 15 years, she handled all garnishment proceedings involving employees of the North Broward Hospital District and developed the hospital’s policy relating to the handling of these proceedings.

White has been recognized for her active community involvement with the 1000+ Club American Cancer Society Woman of the Year, March of Dimes Woman of Distinction, and Cystic Fibrosis Fort Lauderdale’s Finest. In addition to serving for 10 years on the Florida State University College of Law Alumni Association Board of Directors, she holds leadership positions with The Rotary Club of Fort Lauderdale; Pinion, a support group for Special Olympics; and the Fort Lauderdale Snow Ski Club.
