Broad And Cassel Announces New Partners
ORLANDO, FL; January 12, 2006 — Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel is pleased to announce that three attorneys have been extended an invitation to become Partners with the Firm: Michael Kirwin of Orlando, Carl Romano of West Palm Beach and Robert Sickles of Tampa.

Previously an associate in the Orlando office, Michael Kirwin is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. He focuses his practice on the acquisition and disposition of commercial real estate including the purchase, sale, leasing, development, and financing of commercial properties. He represents a broad range of regional, national and international corporate clients. Kirwin is a Cum Laude graduate of The Catholic University of America, and received his J.D. with honors from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He is involved in various community and professional organizations, including Florida Citrus Sports and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. Kirwin joined the Firm in 2002.
Previously an associate in the West Palm Beach office, Carl Romano is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Romano has experience with commercial real estate loan transactions, including construction and conduit loans. He has also assisted clients with commercial leases, as well as the acquisition and development of properties. He is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, and later received his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law. A former Captain in the United States Marine Corps, Romano currently serves as a board member for Lighthouse Habitat for Humanity. He joined the Firm in 2004.
Formerly an associate in the Tampa office, Robert Sickles is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice group. Sickles works in the area of commercial litigation and has also defended class actions and handled insurance coverage issues for both insurance companies and their insureds. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Jefferson College in Pennsylvania and his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Sickles joined the Firm in 2000.
