Robert Alfert, Jr., Certified as AAA Arbitrator
ORLANDO, FL; May 16, 2006 — Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel is pleased to announce that Orlando Partner, Robert Alfert, was recently certified as an American Arbitration Association (AAA) Arbitrator and will preside over construction cases.
Mr. Alfert has represented governmental bodies, property owners and contractors in a broad array of matters, ranging from contract negotiation and drafting, dispute resolution, to arbitration and trial. Mr. Alfert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, and prior to pursuing a career in construction litigation, practiced with three different architectural firms. Unlike most construction attorneys, he has actually designed and had constructed buildings of various types. Primarily because of his ability to read plans and specifications and understand technical expert work product, he has particular expertise in defending and prosecuting construction defect claims. Mr. Alfert has been handling construction matters since 1992.
