Gloria Lockridge joins Orlando office as Partner
Orlando, FL; April 5, 2007 —The statewide law firm Broad and Cassel is pleased to announce the addition of Gloria M. Lockridge, who will serve as a Partner in the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.
Lockridge concentrates her practice in commercial real estate law, including land use, zoning, acquisition, financing, development, platting, subdivision, sales and leasing. She has extensive experience in the acquisition, financing, permitting and development of large mixed use projects, and has represented both developers and banking and financial institutions in a variety of acquisition, development, construction and asset based lending.
Lockridge served for several years as chair of various governmental affairs committees for a local homebuilding association, and also served on the Governor’s Task Force on the Econ River. She has also been on the faculty for the Florida Chamber Growth Management Seminars, served on the first Orange County School Impact Fee Advisory Committee, and represented homebuilders on Orange County’s Development Advisory Board.
In 2004, Ms. Lockridge was selected as one of Florida Trend Magazine’s "Florida’s Legal Elite" representing the top 2% of lawyers in the State of Florida, as selected by her peers.
Ms. Lockridge received her Bachelor’s degree from New York University and a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She later received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida College of Law.
