Orlando Office Welcomes New Estate Planning and Trusts Attorney, Ashley Calhoun

ORLANDO, FL; October 22, 2007 — The statewide law firm Broad and Cassel is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Ashley N. Calhoun, who joins the Firm’s Orlando office and the Estate Planning and Trusts Practice Group.

Prior to joining Broad and Cassel, Calhoun served as an associate in the business department of a large Florida law firm, where she gained valuable experience in the areas of trusts, estate planning and administration, taxation, wealth transfer and corporate law.

After receiving an undergraduate degree from Florida Southern College, Calhoun attended Stetson University, where she earned a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor. During her tenure at Stetson, Calhoun served as a student intern to U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas G. Wilson at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. After law school, she received a Master of Laws in taxation from the University of Florida College of Law.

Calhoun has authored works in several Florida legal publications and is a member of numerous professional and community organizations, including The Florida Bar, The Lakeland Bar Association, the Estate Planning Council of Polk County, Kiwanis Club of Lakeland and the Community Foundation of Greater Lakeland, among others.
