Two Orlando Partners Among Orlando Business Journal's 2007 "Best of the Bar"

ORLANDO, FL; November 19, 2007 — Two distinguished attorneys at Broad and Cassel have been selected in today’s edition of the Orlando Business Journal (OBJ) as “Best of the Bar.” Orlando Partners Scott Miller and Anthony Palma are among the top 5 percent of Central Florida attorneys that have been recommended and selected by their peers in the legal field for the OBJ’s fourth annual list.

Both members of Broad and Cassel’s Estate Planning and Trusts Practice Group, Miller and Palma were also recognized this year by Law & Politics magazine as “2007 Florida Super Lawyers,” and hold an AV rating from the Martindale Hubbell publication, a rating only received by 5 percent of attorneys.

A Board Certified Wills, Trusts and Estates attorney, Palma’s experience includes all aspects of wills, trust and estate administration, and probate litigation. Palma has built a successful practice and one of the largest wills, trusts and estates practices in the State. The practice section has grown more than ten percent each year since he became a partner in 1989.

Concentrating his practice in estate planning and administration, Miller provides sophisticated and significant estate planning for affluent clients, including complex estate tax planning, business succession planning, life insurance planning, and lifetime giving and charitable planning. Also handling tax and tax controversy matters, he has successfully managed several multi-million dollar Internal Revenue Service audits. He is also certified by the National Football League (NFL) Players Association as a contract advisor for NFL players.
