Estate Planning and Trusts Attorney Keith C. Durkin Joins Firm's Orlando Office

 ORLANDO, Fla.; January 18, 2008 — The statewide law firm Broad and Cassel is pleased to announce the addition of Associate Keith C. Durkin, who joins the Firm’s Orlando office in the Estate Planning and Trusts Practice Group.

Durkin has a well-rounded portfolio, from his experience handling corporate mergers to matters in all areas of taxation. His expertise includes asset purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, complex financing documents, international licensing and distribution agreements. Durkin has also represented taxpayers in tax controversies before the IRS, and prepared Non-Profit 501(c)(3) applications.
 
He is a member of the Downtown Orlando Partnership, and volunteers with tax assistance for HOPE. He is also involved with Habitat for Humanity and the Big Brother program.

Durkin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations from Tulane University, New Orleans. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where he graduated cum laude. He later earned his Master of Laws from the New York University School of Law, New York City.
