Award-winning Construction Attorney, Mike Wilson to Present Seminar on Construction Contract Issues in Orlando, Fla.
ORLANDO, Fla.; October 16, 2008 — Broad and Cassel’s Construction Law Chair Michael K. Wilson has once again been invited to speak at a Lorman construction seminar. The board-certified Orlando Partner will present on “The Fundamentals of Construction Contracts: Understanding the Issues,” on October 30, at the Radisson WorldGate Resort in Kissimmee, Fla.
Wilson and two additional event speakers will walk attendees through the entire process of construction contract development in order to help them develop effective documentation, avoid contractual complications, and navigate through the claims and changes process.
Intended for an audience of attorneys, project and facility managers, engineers, accountants, architects, contractors, and other construction professionals, the seminar will cover all essential elements of construction contracts from scope of work, site conditions and payment terms, to insurance coverage, liability and delay claims. Wilson and the additional members of the panel will also examine the various types of contracts and associated risks, and will discuss the most common contract claim areas and the procedures for dispute resolution.
