Matthew D. Armstrong concentrates his legal practice on public and private securities transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and private investments. He also has extensive experience with real estate law, including commercial transactions, commercial leasing, litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Armstrong also advises clients on alternative fundraising options such as crowdfunding, Regulation A+, and online fundraising platforms.
Armstrong previously served as a legal extern for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Social Security Administration and the general counsel’s office of a large publicly-traded real estate investment trust (REIT).
Armstrong is a frequent speaker. He recently spoke to the National Entrepreneur Center on the topic of “Top 3 Risks of Equity Crowdfunding.”
