BOCA RATON, Fla. – March 29, 2016 – Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel today announced Boca Raton Managing Partner Jeff Deutch has been appointed to the board of directors for the Eda and Cliff Viner Community Scholars Foundation, Inc.
Viner Scholars began in May 2015 and provides South Palm Beach County High School students with four-year scholarships to public colleges and universities in Florida. Its mission is to inspire and educate young leaders for successful futures. In addition to Deutch’s position on the board, the foundation welcomes Broad and Cassel as one of its community partners.
Deutch is the founding and managing partner of Broad and Cassel’s Boca Raton office. During his more than 35-year career with the firm, he has been instrumental in building the Boca Raton office and its preeminent reputation. He is a member of the firm’s executive committee and the Real Estate Practice Group, and focuses his practice in negotiating and documenting real estate business transactions. Deutch has significant experience with real estate financing through joint ventures and mortgage financing with institutional lenders and equity partners throughout the United States.
His position with Viner Scholars is new to a list of growing achievements. An AV Preeminent®-rated attorney, Deutch has been recognized among the “Best Lawyers in America®” and “Florida Super Lawyers.” He has also been included in Chambers USA: A Guide to America’s Leading Business Lawyers and South Florida Legal Guide’s Top Lawyers. He is a past president of B’nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton, and for several years, served as Director of Equity Bank in Delray Beach.
Deutch received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his juris doctor from University of Miami School of Law.
