TALLAHASSEE – (April 27, 2016) – Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel today announced the addition of associate Joshua Stratton to the Tallahassee office as a member of the firm’s Eminent Domain Practice Group.
Son of firm partner Charles Stratton, who has practiced with Broad and Cassel for nearly three decades, Joshua Stratton assists the Eminent Domain Practice Group in performing legal research, drafting memoranda and motions for filing with courts. Prior to joining Broad and Cassel, Stratton served as a contract attorney for a law firm located in Boston, Mass., where he primarily assisted in electronic discovery. Stratton’s technical proficiency in this area allows him to provide legal assistance to clients.
Stratton earned his bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass., and his juris doctor from Rutgers University of Law in Camden, N.J. Stratton holds a master of laws in intellectual property from Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord, N.H. He has been a member of the Massachusetts Bar since 2004 and a member of The Florida Bar since 2014.
News of Stratton joining the firm is the latest in a series of announcements tied to Broad and Cassel’s growth across the state. The firm this year announced the addition of Former Circuit Court Judge Frank Sheffield in Tallahassee; Veteran Health Law Attorney Mark Folk and Associate Gabriel Itskovich in Boca Raton; and Associate Francisco Armada in Miami.
