WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (May 2, 2016) — Broad and Cassel announced that Tara Pellegrino, an associate in the firm’s West Palm Beach office, has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court as a circuit civil mediator.
Pellegrino is a member of Broad and Cassel’s Appellate and Commercial Litigation Practice Groups. She is an experienced appellate advocate in the Florida District Courts of Appeal and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Pellegrino also has extensive experience as a federal court practitioner, and has successfully handled contested matters involving the civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, breach of contract actions between international litigants, and jurisdictional contests.
An AV Preeminent®-rated, Pellegrino has been named a Florida “Rising Star” by Law & Politics magazine for the past three years. She is an active member of various professional and community organizations, including the University of Pennsylvania Secondary Schools Committee, and donates her time and talents to the Library Foundation for the Mandel Public Library and Tri-County Animal Rescue. She previously served as a pro bono Guardian Ad Litem in dependency proceedings for at-risk children.
